Awash with alluring ambiguity, my multidisciplinary practice is a combination of poetry, photography and performance art in order to craft a decodable and ruminative story of my experiences in life so far, living as a disconnected woman who feels that life is a performance in itself. I work with grainy, dream-like imagery and metaphorical poetry/prose, which I bring together to create a cryptic lexicon examining such themes as womanhood, fame, desire, religion and addiction as well as the innate performative and intimate nature of autobiographical poetry. Through this, I create a stream of consciousness, a new language, an extended metaphor that brings the written record of my life and my art together as one performance.
